Employees are the key to our success.

We dedicate resources to help employees balance the demands of work and personal life.

General Mills offers special leave programs and an onsite health clinic at our headquarters, fitness centers at several of our production facilities and office locations, and partnerships with community-based programs.

Our education and referral programs provide information and resources on important subjects, such as child care, adoption information, elder care and more.

We offer flexible work arrangements to accommodate employees, including telecommuting, flextime and the innovative Flexible User Shared Environment program that allows employees to create workspaces that best suit their personal and business needs.

Health and well-being

We support our employees with resources to aid them in being active, eating healthy and staying well.

This includes information about health and wellness resources and preventive health initiatives at many of our locations.

We provide employees with opportunities to increase physical activity as part of our core wellness offerings.

Our LifeWorks Employee Assistance program helps employees build resiliency through counseling, emotional support, and referrals to employees and their families in the United States.

Annual evaluation

We evaluate our work/life balance programs annually in an effort to meet employees’ changing needs. We’re proud of the progress we’ve made.
