Count Chocula and Franken Berry were inspired by classic horror film vampires and the Frankenstein monster.

Artist George Carn drew the first images of Count Chocula (he also designed the Trix Rabbit).
The most dramatic makeover?
That came in 2014, when three DC Comics artists illustrated their limited edition versions.
